Our Story

Occasions by Darina was born from a lifelong love of art, creativity, and the joy of giving. Darina, the heart behind the brand, was born and raised in Bulgaria and came to the United States in 1998 in pursuit of the American dream. Her artistic journey began long before that—first as a kindergarten teacher, where she discovered how much she loved creating beauty with her hands and sharing it with others.

What started as simple, heartfelt gifts for friends, family, and co‑workers soon became something much bigger. Darina became known for her thoughtful, custom gift baskets—each one crafted with care for birthdays, holidays, and every special moment in between. As more people asked for her creations, her passion grew, and so did her artistry.

Today, Occasions by Darina specializes in handcrafted flower art made from organic soap, beautifully designed candles, and unique custom gifts that bring warmth and meaning to every celebration. Every piece reflects Darina’s heritage, her creativity, and her belief that the best gifts are the ones made with love.
